Payment Installments
Billingbooth One gives you the ability to have an invoice paid for using installments rather than one singular payment.
Setting Up Payment Installments
First, click the Invoices menu item in the left-hand navigation menu, to get to the Invoices screen.
From here, find the invoice you wish to set payment installments up for and select Payments from the invoice rows Actions column.
This will bring up the Invoice Payments modal.
Set the first field to be Installments, to display the applicable options.
Select which payment method this customer has assigned to them you wish to use.
In the Number of installments field, specify how many installments you wish the payment to be split into.
The Frequency field allows you to specify what frequency the installments will be paid.
For example, if you set 4 installments to be paid weekly, the amount the customer owes for the invoice will be split into 4 installments, and an installment payment will be taken each week for 4 weeks.
Specify when you wish the first installment to be paid using the First collection field.
When the Number of installments, Frequency, and First collection date fields have values assigned to them, you'll see a preview of the charges you're about to schedule the customer.
If these are to your liking, click the Schedule Payments button to schedule the installments.
The scheduled installments can now be found on the Payments screen, accessed by clicking the Payments menu item on the left-hand navigation, where you're able to Cancel the scheduled payments if you've made a mistake.
